Martinet School of Business, Education, and Technology, Inc. (MSBET) was established in 1997 by Dr. Leonida Sigua-Calagui, driven by her passion for education and community service in Barangay Maligaya. What began as "Martinet Kiddie School," a single proprietorship offering pre-elementary education, has grown into a respected institution that provides quality education from preschool to junior high school.MSBET's journey began with 20 students in a modest rented space. Steady growth led to acquiring its own property and constructing a three-story facility with 21 classrooms. The school graduated its first Grade VI batch in 2005, achieved junior high school recognition in 2018, and continues to expand its offerings.Under Dr. Calagui’s leadership, and following her retirement from public service, the school has transitioned into a hub for higher education. Starting in School Year 2024-2025, MSBET will offer tertiary programs, including Bachelor of Early Childhood Education, Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship, and Associate in Computer Technology.With a commitment to excellence and innovation, MSBET remains a pillar of education in the community, shaping future leaders and empowering learners to achieve their potential.
Philosophy of the School
The Martinet School of Business, Education and Technology, Inc. operates based on its Philosophy or belief that learning at an early age is vital in the life of any individual. It serves as the foundation in the education of a child, which can significantly and decisively affect his total learning and total life. The school subscribed fully which is enunciated in the Holy scriptures particularly in Proverbs 22:6 which states “TRAIN UP A CHILD IN THE WAY HE SHOULD GO, AND WHEN HE IS OLD, HE WILL NOT DEPART FROM IT.”It likewise holds high expectations of all staff and students and steadfastly holds a strong commitment to hard work and personal achievement for lifelong learning. It further fosters the policy of providing equal access to opportunities and resources for those belonging to marginalized sectors that celebrates diversity, honesty, and equity.
